Can visitors use UCD Library printing services?

Answer

Yes. Visitors can print, copy, and scan using the UCD CopiPrint service.

How to get started

  1. Create a Visitor Printing Account at a UCard kiosk. Locations are:
    • James Joyce Library lobby – opposite the turnstiles
    • Richview Library
    • John Henry Newman (Arts) Building – beside the UCard/CopiPrint bureau entrance
    • Smurfit Business School (Blackrock) – Oval Room, CopiPrint area
    At the kiosk, choose Visitor Login > Create and follow the on-screen instructions.
    You’ll receive a Visitor ID and password (printed or emailed to you).
  2. Top up your account at the kiosk using contactless card, Google Pay, or Apple Pay.
  3. Send print jobs from your own device via the Pharos Print Centre.
  4. Log in at any CopiPrint printer/copier with your Visitor ID and password to release your job.
