How do I use the Library App?

To use your Digital Library Card and Self-Checkout in the Library App, you need to log in to your Library Account.
Follow the instructions below:
- Download the UCD Library App from Google Play and Apple AppStore.
- Open the UCD Library App. Tap on Library Account, then tap on the first option to Sign In.
- Enter in your UCD Connect username and password – then click Login.
- Once signed in, My Barcode will appear near the top of the screen, just above Library Account.
Digital Library Card:
Tap on My Barcode to display your barcode—this is your Digital Library Card..
Use your Digital Library Card to enter and exit through the library gates.
Self-Checkout:
Tap Self-CheckOut to borrow items directly from your smartphone.
Place your phone on the back of the book to complete the checkout process.
